1. Preparation before startup

1.1. Before use after the first use or reinstallation, the equipment shall be correctly installed and debugged as required, and carefully checked and debugged.

1.2. Preparation and inspection before daily startup

A. Clean the surrounding environment of the site, and the centrifuge body shall not be hung with any useless tools, parts or other sundries;

B. Check whether the V-belt is properly tensioned;

C. Check whether the transmission shield and drum shield are installed and closed well, and whether the screws of bearing pedestal, feed pipe, control cabinet, etc. are loose;

D. Confirm that the clean water pipeline has clean water supply;

E. Confirm that the feed valve and clean water valve of the feed pipe assembly have been closed;

F. Inch the centrifuge to check whether there is abnormal vibration and rubbing sound;

G. For the frequency conversion centrifuge, please read the operation manual of the frequency conversion control cabinet carefully before starting.

2. Startup steps

A. Connect the external main power supply;

B. Start the auxiliary motor until the speed is normal;

C. Start the main motor after a delay of 20 seconds until it operates normally;

D. After the main motor runs for 10 minutes, start the feed pump motor until it runs normally;

E. Gradually turn on the feed pump to reach the required treatment capacity.

3. Precautions for startup

A. Do not suddenly feed a large amount of materials or exceed the allowable handling capacity of the centrifuge to avoid machine failure;

B. The slag chute is connected with a clean water flushing pipe. If necessary, it can be properly opened to wet the chute to help discharge solid substances and avoid retention and drying;

C. Do not open the clean water valve of the drum shield during operation to avoid washing away the mud protective layer inside the shield and aggravating wear;

D. Due to the circuit interlock, the feed pump cannot be started before the main engine is started.

E. For the positive displacement feed pump, please operate the inlet and outlet valves according to the instructions.

4. Shutdown steps

A. Close the feed valve and stop the feed pump;

B. Open the clean water valve and the drum shield cleaning valve, let the centrifuge continue to run for 10-15 minutes, observe the overflow port, and close the above valves only when the liquid flow is clear and the slag is no longer discharged from the slag outlet;

C. Stop the main motor;

D. Automatic stop of auxiliary motor after delay;

E. Disconnect the external main power supply.

5. Shutdown precautions

A. Flush the slag tank to prevent the mud and sand from drying;

B. When the machine is shut down in winter or for a long time, the drum cover must be opened, the waterproof screws on the drum must be removed, and the residual water in the drum and the mud or water in each rubber tube must be drained to prevent freezing;

C. The shutdown time is long, and mud cake or ice slag is easy to form in the drum when the sediment in the drum is not washed clean. Before starting up again, be sure to manually turn the gear, and use water to wash the mud cake or ice slag before starting up.

Otherwise, the unbalanced force caused by mud cake or ice slag will make the unit vibrate violently or even jump, which may lead to unit damage and major personal accidents! When the drum finally stops rotating, the operator is not allowed to leave the site.
